Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have minimum orders?

Minimum spend is £300. Minimum per item is 6 of each design. For example, if you wanted to order mugs in the Scottish Landscape design and the Sweetpea design you would need to order a minimum of 6 of each.

As there are colour variations on each design,(eg the shoreline design comes in 5 different colourways) we will give you a mix of colours unless you specifically request a certain colourway.

How long will my order take?

As each piece is hand made, the process is slower than most mass produced ceramics. Therefore we try to get orders out within 6-8 weeks.

However, If there is something you need sooner than that, please get in touch and we can see what we can do.

Are the products dishwasher and microwave safe?

Yes, unless they have the addition of gold lustre in which case they must not be microwaved and we would advise hand washing to protect the gold.

What are the shipping charges?

Deliveries in EH postcodes are free. For anywhere further afield the price will be based on how much you order and will be applied at checkout.

Is Ella Fletcher Designs sustainable?

Yes, we are.

Ceramics has very little waste and we source materials from the Uk where possible.

All packaging is plastic free or reused. Our studio is powered by a 100% renewable energy tariff and heated by the kiln that produces our stoneware. It is an ongoing process that we have been embracing in order to make a long-term change.

Where is Ella Fletcher Designs based?

We have a studio at Rosemains Steading which is a CIC on the outskirts of Pathhead in Midlothian.

It is 20 mins from Edinburgh city centre and based on a working farm so you get the best of both worlds- close to both city life and beautiful Scottish countryside.

Rosemains Steading is a CIC supporting the other businesses that run out of it. Ella is a director of the CIC and is closely involved in helping support the businesses and run local makers markets and other events.
